It is never too early to be thinking about what you want to do with the rest of your life, but the reality is that most people have no idea what they can do, let alone what they want to do. This goes for students, early career professionals, and even veteran leaders. People change careers multiple times in their lives, and often don’t truly understand what they love to do until later in life, after they have tried different jobs, worked for different organizations, utilized different skills, and sampled different experiences. So what should you do, early in your career, to position yourself for success, if you are not sure what exactly you want to do? First of all, don’t make the mistake of thinking that you have to have your entire life plan already written. Second, realize that, early in your career, you have certain options afforded to you, which you can leverage to start to make sense of the different paths of which you can partake. In this webinar we will discuss what steps you can pursue to explore, taste and experiment with different ideas you have for yourself. We will discuss identifying, seizing, and creating your own opportunities to dabble in the tasks you enjoy performing, and we will illuminate what you can literally do today to both plan for the future AND enjoy the present.
