Geoscience 2021 Median Salaries

This issue in AGI's Currents series displays the median salaries for occupations across the Earth and space sciences. 

Salaries for geoscience-related occupations were higher than broad occupational categories. For example geoscience engineering managers paid greater than architect and and engineering occupations.

Overall, this study highlights the skills depth required to work in the geosciences. Rather, it is not just science based backgrounds and technical expertise, but a combination of all professional development skills.
