Founded in 1966, the University of Calgary is ranked one of Canada’s top seven research universities and is a member of the 13 most research intensive universities in Canada (otherwise known as the G13). The U of C campus covers an area larger than Calgary’s entire downtown, housing 14 faculties and more than 30 research institutes and centers that offer more than 100 academic programs.
