The College of Geosciences at Texas A&M University is a unique institution committed to fundamental Earth systems research across four Departments: Atmospheric Sciences, Geography, Oceanography, and Geology and Geophysics. The College hosts the Texas Sea Grant, the Geochemical and Environmental Research Group (GERG), and the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP). The college has established a teaching/research facility in Costa Rica and a teaching facility near San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
