A historical strength, led by RTI’s Technology Advancement & Commercialization (TAC) unit, has been on aerosol exposure assessment and corresponding effects on human health through basic and applied research that spans the entire source-exposure-dose paradigm. Our research program focuses on health outcomes that leverage our advanced capabilities in aerosol exposure measurements and modeling, particle chemical speciation, data analytics, and therapeutic drug delivery. We seek to grow our research program by adding expertise respiratory health, specifically respiratory disease mechanisms, epidemiology and environmental factors. This research will span the entire exposome from community to molecular levels by applying novel exposure assessment methods to improve public health both domestically and internationally.
