The Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences (EEES) at Clemson University invites applications for a full-time position at the Lecturer level commencing with the fall 2017 semester. This is a one-year position that will be reviewed annually for possible renewal. The successful candidate is expected to teach at least two courses in the Geology degree program each semester. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach structural geology and/or sedimentology and stratigraphy. Opportunities exist for collaboration within the uniquely interdisciplinary environment of the EEES department, as well as with colleagues in other departments at Clemson University. The successful candidate will have earned a PhD in Geosciences, Geological Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Candidates who can demonstrate strong teaching skills and have experience instructing both introductory and specialized undergraduate geology courses are preferred.
