Graduate Assistantships in Atmospheric Chemistry
The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Atmospheric Chemistry program within the Department of Atmospheric Science (ATS) is actively recruiting graduate students with interests in atmospheric chemistry. The UAH atmospheric chemistry program offers world-class leading research in aerosols, clouds, tropospheric ozone lidar, and satellite remote sensing (http://www.uah.edu/science/departments/atmospheric-science/research/research-areas). The department ranks as one of the top atmospheric science departments in the United States, and is co-located with NASA and NOAA research facilities. Huntsville, situated in the beautiful Tennessee Valley, offers various outdoor recreation opportunities, as well as diverse cultural activities. Applications to the MS in ATS or PhD in ATS programs in Atmospheric Chemistry are still being encouraged for the Fall 2017 semester.
