Visiting Lecturer, Geology
The Department of Geosciences invites applications for a non-tenure-track Visiting Lecturer position for the 2017 – 18 academic year. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in field geology and commitment to teaching in the field. The primary responsibility of the position is teaching introductory geosciences, earth materials, and structural geology in small classroom and laboratory settings. The Department supports student faculty research and would be delighted if the candidate can bring their own research into the classroom.
Wellesley is a highly selective liberal arts college for women located 12 miles west of Boston. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in geoscience or near completion, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
