The Environmental Change Institute (ECI) at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana), invites applications for a postdoc on the modelling of coupled hydrologic economic systems. ND-ECI is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Notre Dame dedicated to grow excellence in solving global problems related to environmental change.

Successful candidates will have a strong publication records in the field of water resources and have experience and strong interest in hydro(geo)logic (e.g., MODFLOW, VIC) and hydro-economic modeling (e.g., agent based, game theory) and/or remote sensing applications to water resources management. Expertise with open source programming environment (R, Python, GRASS and/or Javascript in Earth Engine) is also required. 

The position may include collaborative research on the health implications of water resources in Bangladesh in the context of global change. Successful candidates may also perform a research direction of their personal interests.
