A Ph.D. in geosciences or related field, 6 years’ of relevant professional experience, and demonstrated proficiency in directing a research laboratory(s) is required. Applicants must have a demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English. Experience in project management and/or seagoing scientist, especially in scientific ocean drilling, is preferred.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the applicant. This is a full-time benefit eligible position, contingent upon continuing availability of funds for IODP. We will begin reviewing applications on 1 August 2017, but will continue to accept applications until candidates are selected for interviews.
