ENAC - Postdoctoral Researcher – Physical Limnology @ ECOL

The Ecological Engineering Laboratory (ECOL) at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) is active in the study of physical lake processes. Present field work includes the investigation of winter cooling, river inflow, and air-water exchange, and is complemented by numerical modelling of lake hydrodynamics.

The position is to extend and reinforce these different projects. We seek a motivated postdoc with experience in designing and carrying out independent field campaigns and capable of operating our state-of-the-art remote sensing and fine scale measurement instruments and equipment. Applicants should have advanced competencies in large data set analysis and a strong publication record.

The successful applicant is expected to have a PhD degree in physical limnology, including field experience.

The position is for 2 year contract, full-time and offers salary commensurate with experience.
