Postdoctoral Researcher in Physical Limnology
The Ecological Engineering Laboratory (ECOL http://ecol.epfl.ch) is active in the study of physical lake processes. Present field work includes the investigation of winter cooling, river inflow, and air-water exchange, and is complemented by numerical modelling of lake hydrodynamics.
We wish to extend and reinforce these different projects. We seek a motivated postdoc with experience in designing and carrying out independent field campaigns and capable of operating our state-of-the-art remote sensing and fine-scale measurement instruments and equipment.
- PhD degree in physical limnology, including field experience
- Advanced competencies in large data set analysis and a strong publication record
- You are proficient in English, French an asset
