Postdoctoral Research Associates – Coastal Modeling

The Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) and Theoretical Divisions are seeking several candidates for postdoctoral positions focused on coastal modeling. The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team of geomorphologists, vegetation, hydrological, infrastructure and ocean modelers focused on developing multi-physics models for high-resolution simulations using high-performance computational architectures.


  • Ph.D. in Ecology, Environmental Science, Geomorphology, Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Candidates with modeling experience in coastal ocean, hydraulics, land, vegetation dynamics, geomorphology, surface and subsurface hydrology and/or modeling coupling and high-performance computational architectures are encouraged to apply
