Remote Sensing Scientists – Copernicus Marine Applications
Could you contribute to the scientific development, maintenance, validation and quality monitoring of remote sensing products (Ocean Colour or Altimetry) derived from satellite based measurements?
We are seeking enthusiastic applied scientists to join our Marine Applications team with an understanding and interest in the observational capabilities of our Copernicus Ocean Colour or Altimetry instruments (2 roles).
You will contribute to the development of new and improved Copernicus marine products responding to the evolving needs of our user communities and the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS). You will be responsible for prototyping and the operational implementation of advanced algorithms. You will support Sentinel-3 mission operations with respect to processing anomalies, change requests, processing baselines and regression testing.
