The Department of Earth Science at Utah Valley University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Hydrology to begin August 2019. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in hydrology or related field, research experience in hydrology, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Responsibilities will include teaching majors courses in hydrology plus lower division environmental management and/or geology courses, as well as engaging in scholarship, supervising undergraduate research, participating in professional organizations, and serving the university. Excellent teaching skills and a strong commitment to effective teaching and undergraduate research are necessary. Experience as a professional hydrologist is a positive.
