Post-doctoral Fellow in Dynamics, Evolution and Structure of Deep Planetary Interior (2 posts) in the Department of Earth Sciences (Ref.: 492421)
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Dynamics, Evolution and Structure of Deep Planetary Interior (2 posts) in the Department of Earth Sciences, to commence as soon as possible for 18 months or 36 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Geophysics or related fields. Experience in numerical techniques as well as good theoretical backgrounds are highly preferred. The appointees will work on research projects related to regional mid-oceanic-ridge/subduction modeling, global geodynamics modeling, thermal history of terrestrial planets, dynamics and evolution of icy body in the solar system and exosolar rocky planets, and geodynamo modeling.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
