The Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at Louisiana State University is currently seeking applicants for a funded M.S. or Ph.D. graduate assistantship for Fall 2019 enrollment. Prospective graduate students interested in meteorological research topics in a coastal environment are encouraged to apply. Applicants must possess a background in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field. Experience with computer scripting (e.g, Matlab, Python, R) is advantageous. In addition to the M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences, the Department also a B.S. in Coastal Environmental Science. More information about the graduate program is available on the website: https://www.lsu.edu/cce/graduate/docs/index.php

After coordinating with Dr. Miller, candidates must submit a departmental pre-application by December 31st with approved pre-applicants invited to submit a formal application through the LSU Graduate School by late February.
