A post-doctoral research scholar is sought to advance groundwater aspects of a large multi-investigator project on PFAS (Per- and Poly-Fluoroalkyl Substances) in North Carolina.   The successful candidate will design and execute data collection and analysis on PFAS transport in a contaminated coastal plain aquifer, coupling data on contaminant concentrations, age-dating tracers, and other variables to produce quantitative insights into the PFAS inputs, outputs, and changes in storage in the aquifer. The research will be done in the context of a large multi-investigator project on PFAS in the environment.  Review of applications will begin on 11/30/2018 and will continue until a successful candidate has been identified.  Additional details, including a link to apply (with your cover letter, c.v., and list of 3 references), can be found at https://jobs.ncsu.edu/postings/108709.  Questions can be addressed to Prof. David Genereux, Dept. of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences, NC State University (genereux@ncsu.edu).
