We seek a qualified post-doctoral researcher for a two year position investigating the tectonic evolution of the remote Koyukuk Basin in the Alaskan wilderness. Outdoor skills and experience are desirable. The project focuses on geochemical and U-Pb analyses via LA-ICP MS (Thermo X-series II coupled to a NWR193 excimer laser) and SIMS (Cameca 1280 high-resolution ion-microprobe with a Hyperion source). LA-ICP skills are essential and experience with a Thermo X-series is advantageous. Stockholm offers a stimulating environment for geochemistry and geochronology, with a wide range of other analytical capabilities.
