The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Office of National Programs, Natural Resources and Sustainable Agricultural Systems in Beltsville, MD, is seeking a National Program Leader for Land and Air Management.  In this role, the incumbent will provide leadership and expertise of agricultural research over a breadth of topics at the soil/plant/atmosphere interface, including crop and animal production systems, weather adaptation, climate change, air quality, soil conservation, livestock manure management, odor control, landscape ecology, environmental or ecosystems services and rangeland management. As the National Program Leader for Land and Air Management, the incumbent will provide technical leadership and coordination to field scientists on the interactions of soil and air science.
