We are offering two fully-funded PhD places for suitable candidates who are interested in studying palaeovegetation and palaeoclimates at the University of Reading. One of the topics is on “Pollen-based reconstructions of the vegetation and climate of the circum-Mediterranean region during the Holocene”. The second is on “Understanding vegetation response to fire during glacial and interglacial states”.
