Job Details

The Geophysics and Geomechanics Laboratory at Central Michigan University is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to conduct research on reservoir geomechanics and basin analysis. We seek a candidate with demonstrated experience in petrophysics and geomechanics whose research interests include energy resources, CO2 utilization and storage, and/or induced seismicity. Preferred qualifications include laboratory experience with petrophysical and mechanical measurements on core and/or basin-scale geophysical data integration and modeling. The expected starting date for the appointment is either late May or early August, 2019. The appointment is for 12 months (renewable based on satisfactory performance and funding availability).
