The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Director, Electronics, Sensors, and Networks Research Division in the Command, Control, Communications and Computers; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Science and Technology (S&T) Department.  This is a Civil Service position in the Senior Executive Service (SES). The Division Director leads the strategic planning and execution of the science and technology programs of the Electronics, Sensors, and Networks Research Division.  The Division Director will be responsible for managing and directing extensive activities in fostering, managing, and executing basic research, applied research and advanced technology development programs in science and technology fields such as surface/aerospace radar, electronic warfare, RF sensor processing, ultra-wide band RF electronics, and multi-function radio frequency systems science and technology development for naval applications. The Director also serves as expert consultant and advisor in these areas of S&T to the Chief of Naval Research and other top professional and military personnel in the Department of the Navy, the Department of Defense, other government agencies, industry, and universities.
