Wellesley is a highly selective liberal arts college for women located 12 miles west of Boston.

The Department of Geosciences invites applications for a non-tenure-track Visiting Lecturer position for the 2019 – 20 academic year. The primary responsibility of the position is teaching introductory geosciences, earth materials, and a structure/tectonics-focused 300-level course. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in field geology and a commitment to teaching in the field. The Department supports student faculty research and would be delighted if the candidate can bring their own research into the classroom.

Requirements: 

Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in geoscience, or near completion, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
