Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Department of Geosciences at Princeton University has an opening for a postdoctoral or more senior researcher in the Zhang lab (http://scholar.princeton.edu/xinningz/home) in the area of nitrogen cycle microbial biogeochemistry. The research will focus on marine nitrogen fixation, particularly on the diversity and environmental sensitivities of benthic nitrogen fixers. Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology, Geosciences, or a related field is required. Expertise in microbial culturing of anaerobes, physiology, OMICS, and stable isotope probing of natural microbial communities is preferred. The position is available for one year, with a possibility for renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding.
