Responsibilities
- Performs scientific research, with oversight/guidance from senior staff, that is increasingly independent as education progresses and contributes to ARC's core competencies, specifically the Space & Earth Science core competency described below.
- Space & Earth Science: Ames researchers work to better understand our planet, solar system and everything beyond, and are developing technologies to directly image exoplanets with the ultimate goal to assess their ability to host life.
- Intern collaborates with multi-disciplinary engineering and science teams to advance NASA's remote sensing (satellite or aircraft) capabilities.
- Assists with developing/executing complex Earth science workflows in a variety of computer environments.
- Presents and publishes scientific research findings.
