MS Graduate Assistantships in Remote Sensing, GIS, Applied Earth Sciences

Applications are invited for graduate research assistants at the MS level beginning spring 2019 with NASA SERVIR and Dr. Robert Griffin in the Atmospheric and Earth Science Department at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Selected applicants will be fully funded to pursue an MS in Earth System Science focused on selected Earth science applications areas of relevance to SERVIR. A joint development initiative of NASA and USAID, SERVIR (servirglobal.net) works in partnership with leading organizations worldwide to help developing countries use Earth-observing satellites and geospatial technologies to assess environmental conditions and climate change and improve their planning and actions. Applicants should have experience in geospatial and environmental sciences, with strong math and physics background, and an interest in global development issues.
