We are looking for motivated Ph.D. students, interested in interdisciplinary research on the impact of root exudates on the transport of nutrients in the rhizosphere. The student will use a suite of experimental and numerical methods to investigate the physical properties of the rhizosphere, its dynamics, and the resultant effect on nutrient transport. Applicants should have a Master degree in natural sciences or engineering. The prospective students must be admitted to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem graduate program (http://www.research-students.huji.ac.il/en) and will research with the direction of Dr. Nimrod Schwartz (https://openscholar.huji.ac.il/soilhydrology).
