Graduate Assistantships (PhD and MS student positions) in Microwave Remote Sensing under the supervision of Prof. Aksoy (http://www.albany.edu/ceas/mustafa-aksoy.php) are available at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University at Albany, State University of New York.
Students (have/graduating with a BS and want to pursue a MS or PhD, or have/graduating with a MS and want to pursue a PhD) interested in interdisciplinary research in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Earth & Planetary Sciences are encouraged to apply. Background in Electromagnetic Theory, Remote Sensing, Earth Sciences, and/or Planetary Sciences is a plus. Experience in MATLAB, Fortran, and/or C++ is preferred.
