Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Field Geology or Mineralogy/Petrology (Earth Materials), California State University, Sacramento
The Geology Department at California State University, Sacramento invites applications for two separate tenure-track, Assistant Professor positions, one in Field Geology (http://csus.peopleadmin.com/postings/4411) and one in Mineralogy/Petrology (Earth Materials) (http://csus.peopleadmin.com/postings/4415) beginning in August 2020. Qualified candidates should be dedicated to teaching at the undergraduate and master’s levels and committed to developing an active research program that is suitable for student involvement. Successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of courses in Geology, develop courses in their area of specialization, advise student research (undergraduate and graduate), contribute to college-wide service, and create an inclusive teaching environment for a diverse student population.
