The Sustainability Technology Air Group Supervisor is responsible for leading a talented team of scientists, technicians and engineers to drive forward-looking research and support Phillips 66 operations in tackling technical challenges related to atmospheric science. The Air group's technical work covers a range of areas including atmospheric chemistry, technology evaluation, and method evaluation & development.
Responsibilities May Include
- Exemplifying and reinforcing safety excellence.
- Providing direction and oversight for technical projects.
- Managing project portfolio, including evaluating new projects or areas of focus.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of atmospheric regulatory standards and guiding research to address future needs.
- Leading regulatory and internal advocacy.
- Being an active partner in idea generation and project development.
- Proactively collaborating and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Staying abreast of current oil & gas sector environmental issues through participation in trade agencies, industry consortiums, and related groups.
- Driving efforts for maintaining external engagement, including supporting active participation at academic/regulatory/industry conferences, promoting publication of technical work, and evaluating external collaboration opportunities.
- Maintaining resource allocation including budget, equipment, and personnel time.
