Boston University’s Department of Earth and Environment invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in the fields of environmental science, economics, and analytics beginning Sept 1, 2020. The initial appointment will be for two years and is renewable thereafter for three to five year terms. The course load is five per academic year (nominally 3 in the Fall semester, 2 in the Spring semester). Course assignments are likely to include: Introduction to Environmental Science, Introduction to GIS, Environmentally Sustainable Development, Introduction to Quantitative Environmental Modeling, and Fundamentals of International Economics.
Applicants should have the equivalent of five years experience teaching relevant courses at the college level, and should provide evidence of their teaching skills through student and/or peer reviews.
