The Department of Geosciences and Geological and Petroleum Engineering (GGPE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in water resources research to begin in January 2019.  The candidate will work closely with Dr. David Borrok on projects related to water budgets, water quality/geochemistry, water sustainability, flooding, and similar water-related issues. Relevant qualifications include experience working with chemical data, large databases, and geospatial software and tools. The successful applicant will be expected to write manuscripts, present scientific papers, and help mentor students. They will also have the opportunity to write research grants and, if interested, gain teaching experience. Support will be provided to attend scientific meetings. A Ph.D. in the Geosciences or a closely-related field at the time of hire is required.
