Field Of Study: Required: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline

 

Experience and Other Skills Required:

 

Demonstrate highly innovative scholarly work in any area of chemical engineering. Applicants with a research emphasis in artificial intelligence/data science, geophysics, optimization and control, and/or petroleum engineering.

All applicants must have demonstrated research success as evidenced by a strong record of scholarly publication.

Applicants considered for the associate professor rank should have demonstrated success in developing sustained and funded research programs. Candidates with an exceptional track record in teaching and scholarship as well as academic program accreditation experiences are desired. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, have excellent written and oral communications skills and be committed to interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research across academic units.

Description of Job Duties

 

Applicants are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering courses at all levels. The successful hire will work closely with a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students, develop an externally and internally funded research program, and build strong government and/or industrial research collaborations.
