Job Details

The Air Force Research Laboratory invites graduate students to apply for Summer 2020 internships.  A major goal of our program is to improve nuclear explosion monitoring capability through studies focused on numerical modeling of explosion source physics as well as modeled material properties, geometrical properties, and other wave propagation effects.  We have an ongoing 3D model comparison study that a student may become involved with.  Other projects may be possible, based on aligning interests of the program with the applicant’s background to ensure effective progress on a problem of interest to the Air Force.  Please visit https://afrlscholars.usra.edu/locations/kirtland/ for information on the Scholar’s Program at the Air Force Research Lab.  Please contact us by email with questions or to setup a meeting at AGU.
