The Stable Isotope Geochemistry Lab in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston College is seeking motivated PhD students for the coming academic year. The research projects will use cutting-edge stable isotope techniques (e.g., nitrogen isotopes in corals) to study biogeochemical cycles in the modern and past oceans and their interactions with climate. Students with interests in stable isotopes, paleoceanography and paleoclimatology, and ocean biogeochemistry are strongly encouraged to apply (Deadline Jan 10, 2020). Prospective students are also encouraged to contact the PI of the Stable Isotope Geochemistry Lab Dr. Xingchen (Tony) Wang (xingchen.wang@bc.edu) to discuss specific research projects.
