Spring 2021 Graduate Assistantships at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee

The Department of Geosciences at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) has several open graduate student positions, starting in the Spring 2021 semester. Field of study is open, and the department has expertise in paleomagnetism, hydrogeology, volcanology, sedimentology, structural geology, mineralogy, and paleontology/paleobiology. We encourage students interested in either MS or PhD programs to apply.

Successful applicants will receive financial support in the form of tuition remission, salary from a Teaching Assistantship, and benefits including access to health insurance. Continuing support in the form of Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships, and/or Fellowships is guaranteed to MS students for 4 semesters and PhD students for 8 semesters, provided satisfactory progress towards your degree and sufficient enrollment in courses requiring TAs.
