The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Northwestern University invites applications for fall 2021 from prospective Ph.D. students interested in the fields of climate change, geobiology, biogeochemistry, paleoecology, paleolimnology, stratigraphy, sedimentary geochemistry, radiogenic and stable isotope geochemistry, and geophysics including seismology, tectonics, and natural hazards. Our program guarantees five years of competitive financial support. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2021.
