The University of South Alabama Department of Earth Sciences invites applications for a full-time (9-month), tenure track Assistant Professor position in Digital Cartography, starting August 15, 2021. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Geography or a closely related field at the time of appointment, but ABD candidates near completion of the degree will be considered. Excellence in undergraduate teaching and an active research agenda are expected. Skills in digital cartography with expertise in either GIS and/or Remote Sensing are necessary as well as a focus on Human-Environment Interaction.
