The Hayes Lab for Marine Geochemistry ( at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant pursuing a Master's or PhD in Marine Science, to begin as early as Summer 2021. The successful applicant will work on NSF funded projects involving the GEOTRACES ( global survey of trace elements and isotopes with applications to understanding the ocean's biological productivity and circulation in the modern and ancient ocean.  We seek candidates with a strong background in chemical analyses, proficiency in data analysis and excellent organizational skills.
