Tenure-track position in Paleontology
The Department of Earth Sciences at Memorial University of Newfoundland invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in paleontology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning as early as September 1, 2021. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Earth Sciences or a related discipline, a record of peer-reviewed publications related to paleontology or geobiology, and the capacity to develop and lead an externally funded, field- and/or laboratory-based research program with undergraduate and graduate students. The Department seeks candidates with the ability to deliver high-quality instruction of introductory and advanced paleontology courses and potential to contribute and add new pedagogical strength to the undergraduate and graduate programs.
