Job Details
The Department of Ecosystem Science and Management seeks a graduate student at the MS level to work on a project related to the management of irrigated ranchlands in Wyoming. The student will work closely with a consortium of ranchers to facilitate the effective management of waters and to better understand the fate and transport of water in the system. This project is funded for a minimum of 2 years, and involves a combination of field and computer-based work, including partnering with working ranches in southeastern Wyoming. We seek a motivated student interested in active land and water resource management. Students with a background in watershed management, hydrology, or a closely related field are invited to apply. This is an ongoing project, and ideally the student would be able to start in summer, 2021.
