Professor in Organic Environmental Geochemistry (W3 professorship in the German salary scale for scholars) (f/m/d)

at the earliest possible date.

Applicants (f/m/d) with a research record in Organic Environmental Geochemistry should be distinguished by their diverse and internationally recognized scientific accomplishments. The position links research groups within the Institute of Earth Sciences as well as with other cooperating institutes within the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE). The candidate is expected to establish a primarily externally funded research program and to participate in academic self-government.

Prerequisites for application are a university degree, a doctoral degree and (in accordance with Article 47, paragraph 2 of the Higher Education Law of the State of Baden-Württemberg) a Habilitation, a successfully evaluated junior professorship, or equivalent merits.

Applications including standard documents (curriculum vitae, copies of diplomas, lists of publications and external funding, teaching and research statements) should be submitted in English and are requested in electronic form (as a single PDF document) by May 15, 2021. Applications should be sent to: Dekanin der Fakultät für Chemie und Geowissenschaften der Universität Heidelberg, Im Neuenheimer Feld 234, 69120 Heidelberg, Germany, E-Mail: Dekanat-ChemGeo@uni-heidelberg.de

Please send copies only, as documents will not be returned.
