Visiting Assistant Professor, Petrology/Geochemistry
The Department of Geological Sciences at New Mexico State University (https://geology.nmsu.edu/) invites applications for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor sabbatical replacement position beginning 16 August 2021. Teaching load is three courses each semester at the introductory through graduate levels with focus on petrology and geochemistry. NMSU is located in the southern Rio Grande rift, which provides a natural laboratory for teaching geology. We encourage applications from candidates from underrepresented groups and from individuals interested in working with underrepresented students.
