We invite applications for a PhD student position to join the environmental turbulence group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri. The candidate will work on experimental and numerical investigations of river dynamics and transport process. The candidate will have the opportunities to interact with scientist in the USGS Columbia Environmental Research Center.
Applicants with background in fluid mechanics, hydraulics and hydrology, turbulence measurements using ADCP and ADV, and CFD modeling are particularly encouraged to apply. Programing skills in Python or Matlab is required. The position is open immediately until fill.
