The Wythes Center on Contemporary China at the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, among other campus units at Princeton University seek a specialist on ecology, environment, energy, climate, and/or sustainability in relation to China to join its Faculty at the Assistant Professor level. We are also interested in specialists in the science and practical applications of information technologies, network theory, and the organization, sociology, politics, or economics of the information space related to China and China’s place in the world.

We are especially looking for applicants with expertise, research and teaching interests in one or more scientific disciplines and the ability to read, write, and speak Chinese.

The successful candidate will complement our existing strengths and areas of concentration, and enjoy cross-disciplinary ties with University Programs such as the High-Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI), the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, the Center for Information Technology Policy, the Princeton Institute for Computational Science and Engineering (PICSciE), and other Science Departments. Princeton is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
