Job Details
The Hebrew University Climate Science Center seeks highly motivated Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows in the general fields of climate dynamics, physical oceanography, and tropical meteorology.
Possible projects may address research questions such as: How do ocean-atmosphere-cloud interactions shape the tropical rain belt? What controls ocean energy transport on seasonal timescales? What are the energetic constraints on El Niño and the Southern Oscillation? How does global warming affect the hydrological cycle of different regions?
Ph.D. students need to have an undergraduate degree in climate, atmospheric sciences, ocean sciences, physics, engineering, or a related field.
Post-doctoral positions are for one year initially, renewable for additional 1-year period contingent on satisfactory progress and funding availability.
