Princeton University invites applicants for an assistant professor position in the field of sustainable energy and environmental science, engineering, and technology in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (acee.princeton.edu). We invite candidates from all disciplines in engineering and the sciences to apply. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed between the Andlinger Center and an academic department consistent with the candidate's expertise.

We are specifically interested in candidates with a strong track record and expertise in energy economics, energy finance, decision, and behavioral sciences, or law related to energy technology and the environment. Particular research areas of interest include issues of policy and technology adoption related to energy transitions, greenhouse gas emissions control, urban infrastructure and resilience, and coastal adaptation.

This opportunity is also open to broader areas in energy and the environment including data science expertise, and sustainable and resilient infrastructure and systems, and related areas.

We are particularly interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as members of groups that are underrepresented in science and engineering.

Complete applications, including cover letter, curriculum vitae, and succinct descriptions of teaching and research interests should be submitted online to https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/23122. Applicants will also be required to submit names and contact information for three references. Candidates are encouraged to apply before December 15, 2021.
