Fall 2022 Graduate Assistantships at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee

The Department of Geosciences at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) has multiple open graduate student positions (MS or PhD), starting in the Fall 2022 semester. Field of study is open, and the department has expertise in paleomagnetism, hydrogeology, volcanology, sedimentology, structural geology, mineralogy, and paleontology/paleobiology.

Successful applicants will receive full tuition remission, salary, and benefits including access to health insurance. Salary support is in the form of a teaching assistantship (TA), research assistantship (RA), or fellowship. Continuing support is guaranteed to MS students for 4 semesters and PhD students for 8 semesters, provided satisfactory degree progress and sufficient enrollment in courses requiring TAs.
