Bowdoin College’s Department of Earth and Oceanographic Science invites applications for a one-year, full-time, visiting assistant professor position beginning July 1, 2022. A PhD by July 1, 2022 is preferred; ABD considered. Teaching responsibilities include two courses with labs and two seminars. Course topics might include sedimentary systems, geomorphology, hydrogeology, glaciology, stratigraphy, neotectonics, basin analysis, petroleum geology, or GIS.  Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive excellence in undergraduate teaching.
